A drawing of two sisters watch flowers grow outside their home. Being an only child I always fancied the idea of having an older sibling.

At the age of 7

Inspired by the famous romance scene from the movie Titanic. That’s actually when I first learnt the word romance.

The sinking ship.

Two boys being mischievous in the bath room. Two towels for each. Wanted to make sure they were following proper hygiene.

Besties chitchatting in a park. We gotta always take care of the younger ones, so the hand holding gesture by the one in the centre. The girls are having fun but the little girl in green is bored because she is not with her friends and admires the colourful pots in front of her.

At the age of 9-10

It’s always fun shopping with moms! Mom choosing a beautiful pink dress for me! The lady behind the counter, who is folding clothes is also trying to show me a beautiful red top, but I like mum’s pick.

A scene depicting rural household. Daughter helping mother in the kitchen.

A picnic in the universe. My first attempt at poster colours. Wouldn’t it be fun when some day we’d be able rocket ourselves to the stars!

Helping grandpa to do his garden. He’s old and tired, so I am giving him a hand. He has a sea facing garden and needs to be pristine, so I help. I am not wearing shoes because they will get dirty.

At the age of 13. My attempt at drawing portraits

The woman who sells bangles

             Dancing lord Ganesha

             43cea3b6-6685-4652-9d38-ad36ac0f2acb

Lord Ganesha giving blessing and contemplating.

At age of 15. My folks back home have framed their favourites.

Young Ganesha dancing with joy! A symbolic representation of baby lord Ganesha  dancing because he is happy and about to snack on a delicious ‘ladoo’.

        Flowers in a vase

And that is all!
What a joyous memory!  Loved sharing it with you….
